What is Active Directory integration

By using this integration, you can easily synchronise your employees into Visitor Manager Central. When the Active Directory integration is installed, Visitor Manager Central will

• Sync user information:  first_name, last_name, email, mobile,
• Override all customers’ information if email exists,
• New synced user must forget password to login,
• Synced users have role of ‘User’ and notify SMS option is not enabled by default.

System Requirements

Windows machine, PowerShell version 3.0 or greater installed on your windows PC.

Install Active Directory:

1. Go to SETTINGS > Integrations > Third Party
2. Under employee directory group, find Active Directory and click Configure
3. Follow the instructions on the page

Run Your Sync

• Copy the CRON script and save it as go-ad-sync.ps1 on your Windows machine.
• Configure the correct Organizational Units (OU’s) and optionally customizing where the sync will save its temporary files.

• Run the script via Windows PowerShell to verify that the script is correctly syncing users with Visitor Manager Central. You should go to Status tab to see detail about your last sync run.

• You can run the script as Windows task by using Task Scheduler.

What is Google Directory integration?

You can use Google Directory integration to synchronise all your employees into Teamgo.

When Google Directory integration is installed, Teamgo will

• Sync user information: first_name, last_name, email, mobile
• Override all customers’ information if email exists
• New synced user must forget password to login
• Synced users have role of ‘User’ and notify_sms option is not enabled by default.

Google Directory users will be synced to Teamgo every 24 hours. You can also choose to manually sync at any time if you need an immediate update.

How to use Google Directory Integration

System Requirements

• Google Suite account with admin privileges
• Enable API Access
• Login into Google Admin using your Google Suite account
• Go to API Reference 
• Make sure checked on Enable API Access

• Grant User Read privilege for users
• Create new Admin Role that have this privilege and assign this role to users

• Delegating domain-wide authority to the service account

1. Go to your Google Apps domain’s Admin console
2. Select Security from the list of controls. If you don’t see Security listed, select More controls from the gray bar at the bottom of the page, then select Security from the list of controls. If you can’t see the controls, make sure you’re signed in as an administrator for the domain.
3. Select Advanced settings from the list of options.
4. Select Manage third party OAuth Client access in the Authentication
5. In the Client name field enter the service account’s Client ID.
6. In the One or More API Scopes field enter the list of scopes below: https://www.googleapis.com/auth/admin.directory.user.readonly https://www.googleapis.com/auth/userinfo.email https://www.googleapis.com/auth/userinfo.profile The scopes are comma-delimited
7. Click Authorize.

Where you are done, you should see the authorized API clients list:

Install Google Directory

• Go to SETTINGS > Integrations > Third Party
• Navigate to Google and click Enable
• You will be prompted a Request For Permission dialog. Click the Allow button to grant Teamgo permission to view your email address, your basic profile info and users and your domain.
• After installing successfully, you will be redirect to Google Directory integration instruction page.

Configuration

• Select filter options
• Click on Test Filter button for checking the filter results

Test your integration and check back next day to ensure its syncing correctly and as expected with Teamgo.

Setup HipChat

1. Sign up for a HipChat account on Atlassian (skip step if you have already got an account). https://id.atlassian.com/signup

Connect HipChat to Visitor Manager Central

1. Login to the Visitor Manager Central dashboard
2. Go to SETTINGS > Integrations > Third Party
3. Navigate to the HipChat integration option and click Enable
4. Copy your API Key and click on the Go to HipChat button
5. Follow the prompts in the popup window
6. Login to HipChat account

7. Select a room and click on the “Continue” button
8. When prompted click on the “Approve” button
9. In the Continue tab click on the “Continue” button
10. Input the Visitor Manager Central API Key and click “Proceed” button

All done! Visitor Manager Central is now connected to HipChat for notifications.

Setup Visitor Manager Central and Salesforce to work with each other

3. Install Salesforce Chatter or Salesforce CRM on Visitor Manager Central
   Login to Visitor Manager Central. Go to SETTINGS > Integrations. Go to the Third-Party tab. Click the Enable option for Salesforce Chatter or Salesforce CRM. Follow the prompts in the popup window. Click Allow to complete setup process

Installing Slack Integration on Visitor Manager Central

1. Login to the Visitor Manager Central dashboard

5. After logged in, select a Channel and click on the Authorize button
6. Go to SETTINGS > Notifications
